License Does not work after the Windows 11 (24H2) update

So in the middle of a show my windows machine did a forced update with no warning, just shut down.

This update was the Windows 11 (24H2) update

This made my 128 Elite key to stop working and did not give me access to any nova licenses plugged into my EP4 or EP12. This took me sometime to figure this out and was a showstopper moment.

The fix:
Go to Windows Update > Windows History
Scroll down to the end of the page

Go to the Related Setting Area
Click on the “Uninstall Updates”

Uninstall # Windows 11 (24H2) - Will allow you to use the EP4 or EP12, newer hardware

Uninstall # Microsoft Windows KB5078137 - Will allow you to use the USB Keys

Microsoft Windows KB5078137 is a patch to tighten driver enforcement

You will not need to turn off and on codemeter, just the normal windows reboot that is required after the uninstall process does the trick.

Hi @ajjacobson

Welcome to the forum.

You should find that the latest version of ONYX is compatible with Windows 11 24H2. If you are running an earlier version of ONYX, it may not be fully compatible with the latest versions of Windows 11.
