Let me know if I’m missing something …

I have multiple shows coming into our theatre each month and each show cannibalizes our lighting hang to the point that our lovely CAD diagram is not usable. It takes many tedious hours to correct the CAD drawing. By the time the drawing is current another show is changing it.

I can rapidly make adjustments in the 2D-Plan and would love a way to get a print-screen or a printout of it. All keystrokes seem to be blocked at the moment.

Is there a way? … or can it be considered for the future?

Hi Brent,

It isn’t currently possible to export a PDF diagram of a 2D Plan page. This feature suggestion is logged on our system as reference ONYXRM-129.

In the meantime, your best workaround is to load your show file into ONYX on PC, and then take a screenshot of your 2D Plan page.

Finally back on my consoles today.

I used the “Snipping Tool” app on my PC and was able to grab a copy of the 2D-Plan.

Thank you for the suggestion. That will save me hours each month!
