Timecode via Network - Version 4.32.1302.0

Hi,

I just noticed that I always have to toggle between a different timecode mode and then switch back to Network. Otherwise it simply is not recognizing the network timecode. Once that is done it perfectly get the timecode.

Thanks for checking

Philipp

Hi @flippatspace

Please could you confirm which piece of software you are using to generate Art-Net Timecode? Is this software running on the same PC as ONYX, or an external PC?

I have tested Art-Net Timecode in ONYX 4.32.1302, and with Art-Net enabled under EtherDMX, ONYX is able to reliably detect an Art-Net Timecode source on the network.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @Edward

it is a tiny selfwritten timecode player. It is running on the same PC and I am using the loopbackadapter for the connection from the software to Onyx. Here you can see how it behaves on my machine. The timecodesignal is running since the start of the video.

I will take another PC and try the same to hopefully verify that this is also the case on that one.

Thanks Philipp

Its the same on a different PC - I had another Version installes before → works perfectly fine.

With 4.32.1302.0 I always had to do this switch to make it run.

Hi @flippatspace

Thank you very much for the video showing the issue. I have been able to replicate this issue.

This is logged on our system (ONYX-1258), to allow our software team to investigate further.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

is there a list of known bugs, which are not solved at the moment?

it is very hard to follow all of them.

thx.

There are no “known issues” that could affect show file data. Therefore, we do not have a public list of issues.

We are hoping to release ONYX 4.32.1304 next week, which will include various bug fixes. As always, fixes will be listed in the release notes.
