I need to replace a malfunctioning ControlFlex server that currently allows wall plate control of lighting in a house of worship space. Looking at replacing our network node with EN12i and BS10 wall plates. I’m not seeing any documentation if there is a way to disable the wall switches when our console is running lights. Is this a function that exists? Something that needs to be managed from NETRON CLU?
In Netron Version 3.x you have priority settings to ensure that the console has control as long as it sends DMX data. We don’t have an explicit lockout function but the result should be the same.
As @Matthias just stated the new Version 3 with the DMX Priority Function for Console override of a BS10 wall station is very nice. I just assisted setting a small rural school up with this for this exact reason. I’m very impressed with the NETRON line and have suggested this to several others for similiar operation. That said, the EN12i by itself can only support 1 BS10. They have a BS10 Splitter that can support 3 BS10 stations and can be “expanded” if more than 3 wall locations are needed. As another side of “documentation” the BS10 Splitter will need a seperate power supply. Very easy to setup and manage.
