Is there a better way of releasing other cuelists when you press a playback button? I currently use Macros to do this and it seems extremely inefficient. I suspect Onyx doesn’t have a feature like this, does it?

It does not but we had the same idea 
however unknown when this would be added.
AFAIK, other than the macros, only the Virtual Playback Buttons page has group select & control. Or to look at the status window to glance & stop what’s happening. Else, OSC but I don’t know how well sending that many OSC commands at once would do.
Also hoping for more group control and proportionate fader scaling from a single fader.
