Hi,
I recently upgraded to 24H2 and seems the issue is linked to this.
I also upgraded ONYX to the latest 4.30 version.
Creating a new file ends up with this error message:
And when trying to load an old file I get this:
I uninstalled onyx and reinstalled it, but issue is the same. I have not yet emptied any folder manually after the uninstall.
When reinstalling ONYX I also already got this error message:

Hi Phil,
Thank you very much for the photos of the error messages.
There’s a possibility that the Visual C++ runtime may have got corrupted due to the Windows update.
Please restart your PC, and then go to the Windows Settings app (can be accessed by holding the Windows key and tapping I). Then go to Apps > Installed Apps, and scroll down to “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64)”
Tap the … on the right, and choose Modify. Then, choose Repair, and allow the utility to run…
Once complete, restart your PC, and then launch ONYX. ONYX should start normally.

Found it. Seems there was some kind of issue with the local database. I fully remove that one as well, removed all the database files ((in %APPDATA%/…) and reinstalled everything.
Now it is working fine again
