Cuelist improvements

Hi! Maybe some of these are already in the works, but there are a few improvements that I’d like to see for Cuelists:

  • Generic highlight for “next” cue. For now, the next playing cue is only highlighted if I have selected it through PRE-SELECT FOR NEXT GO. It would be good to have the next cue always highlighted in some way. I understand that next cue is implicitly the cue right after the current one, but during a show it is nice to have it displayed explicitly. That is a standard on many boards.
  • Display progress of previous previous cues that are still running. It happens often that I have a long-running cue (e.g. 20s) and then shorter subsequent cues will be executed while that cue is still running. If I do that, the progress bar of the long-running cue disappears. It would be nice to still see the progress of the previous cues that are still running.
  • This one is a bit secondary, but it would be nice to have a more visible progress indicator for cues. The tiny progress bar is not always easy to see.
  • Because it stresses me a lot haha, can we have an option to enable confirmation for cuelists deletion?

My use-case is theater, with one big cuelist for the show, and a few extra for puctual effects or submasters for touch-ups.

Thanks in advance!

In regards to the cuelist deletion. Are you on a console or PC setup. Either way, the cuelist all live in a directory. So you can easily delete it from the playback faders, but still have it in the directory. That is is also where you would go to make unique copies. As for cues inside a cuelist, that is a different situation and could apply to the confirmation suggestion.

Hope this helps,

Watson

Hi @YaHaBoHo

Thanks very much for taking the time to suggest these improvements. I have logged these suggestions on our system, as reference number ONYX-1073.

Thanks! I use both console and PC, and yes I mean deleting from the directory, it just deletes without a confirmation. In theory it should not happen but I’d really feel safer with a confirmation like for groups… especially at the end of a long tech day where focus starts to slip

Fantastic, thanks!
