Custom channel and swap

Hi all!
how do you solve the problem of custom channels during swap?
We are putting on a tour show, and big problems arise when changing the type of devices, because in off-libraries all the channels are custom for some reason 0_0
As far as I understand, the only option is to adjust the library of the original prioror manually?

Please provide an example of such channels and fixture types.
Not sure what you mean by 0_0 ?
