Q1: How do I add multiple modes to a custom fixture? For instance, my lights have 1, 8 and 10 channel modes. How do I add additional modes so I can pick the desired mode as I am adding the fixture to the patch?
Q2: I have a light that behaves exactly like an ADJ Octobeam RGBW. It is basically 8 pin spots on a single base, all with separate Intensity and Strobe channels. The ADJ Octobeam RGBW fixture works just fine but I am at a loss as to how to build this as a custom fixture. I can open the Octobeam RGBW fixture and look at how it is made, and I am still lost. DMX profile says 10 channels, 9 of them Intensity, 1 strobe, but there seems to be only 1 Intensity and 1 Strobe channel setup in the fixture.
When I patch the ADJ RGBW fixture I get 8 separate fixtures, each with their own Intensity and Strobe belts, in the Fixtures Presets window. If I try and build my own version, I end up with 1 fixture in Presets that has 9 belts for Intensity. How do I build one fixture that shows up as 8 separate fixtures?
