En 12 CLU Dhcp

Hey, I used the CLU software to get my computer and devices talking on the same network, so i enabled dhcp. Then the en12 rebooted but the device started freaking out. And now its fully black, and im unable to connect to it nor use the menu

if the display doesn’t boot its unrelated to any settings, seems an electronic defect and it would have to be serviced.

whats the procedure for getting it serviced

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you have encountered this issue.

Please power the EN12 with the mains connected, and disconnect all Ethernet and DMX connections. What does the OLED show? If it remains completely blank, please let me know where you are based. I can then advise the best route for getting your EN12 back up and running.

Im based in the Bahamas. The screen remains black; only power is connected through true1. DMX LEDs are static white.

If the unit is less than two years old, the best option is to return it to the distributor it was purchased from for repair.

If the unit is older than this, it is probably best to send the unit back to the Obsidian Control Systems office in the US for repair. To do this, please email a photo of the serial number sticker situated on the base of the EN12 to support@obsidiancontrol.com. We will then be able to send you an RMA form.
