EN12 input to EN12 Output Troubleshooting

Hello,
I’ve got an NS8 connected to an en12 at foh. I’ve also got an NS8 connected to an en12 at dimmer beach. I’ve set the en12 at foh to input and the en12 at dimmer beach to output. Protocol is sACN. The two ns8’s are connected via Ethernet.
The trouble is when I send DMX from the console to the foh en12, via DMX connectors on the front panel, I get a sort of ghost cue where I’ll play a cue and then another and then the first cue will pop back up unexpectedly for a second.
If I connect the console via Ethernet and just use sACN it works fine. It’s only when I use the DMX inputs.

What am I doing wrong? I appreciate any help you can offer.

Hi @BrandonGR

Thank you for your description of the issue.

Please could you confirm the firmware versions and web versions that are running on both EN12s? This can be found on their OLED displays, from Menu > Information > Software Version.

When you are outputting DMX to the EN12, is the console disconnected from the network?

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Edward

The firmware for the NS8 is 1.0.0 and the firmware for the EN12 is 2.9.4

The issue occurs when the console is only connected via DMX the Ethernet is completely disconnected from the console.
