Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a persistent issue while trying to create a new fixture from scratch using the Fixture Library Editor in ONYX (Version 4.32.1311). Every time I attempt to save the profile, I get the following error message: “An error occurred while saving the fixture”.
Details of my workflow:
• Fixture: Creating a generic profile (Generic 760).
• Mode: 15-channel mode.
• Process: I am adding channels by selecting the default definitions already available in the console’s library within the channel properties.
• Naming: No special characters are being used in the name, only standard text.
Troubleshooting steps already taken:
1. Restarted the PC multiple times.
2. Ran the software as Administrator.
3. Disabled the Windows Firewall.
4. Attempted to save with different generic names to rule out database conflicts.
I am looking for a solution that does not involve a full software reinstallation, as I have several critical show files on this machine and I cannot risk losing my current workspace or database integrity.
Is there a known bug in this specific build regarding the Library Editor? Or is there a specific “User Library” folder or SQL database permission I should check manually to allow the save process to complete?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
