Brand new NX Wing

Brand new HP Omnibook X running windows 11

windows fully updated, running current Onyx release.

I am not a new Onyx user, been using it since m-series but I am stumped and any suggestions would be appreciated.

running a show, Onyx will randomly freeze up, not only the software but the entire laptop, dimmer functionality works but are unable to trigger cues or any playback. The only way to restore is a hard laptop reset.

I have reinstalled C++, drivers are all up to date, this has now happened to me repeatedly over the last 2.5 months touring into different venues.

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your description of the issue.

The HP Omnibook X is available with different processors - please could you confirm which processor you have?

On the laptop, please go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. In here, please check that “ONYX” and the “Obsidian Control Systems Driver Package” are installed, both showing v4.32.1311.

When the issue occurs, please attempt to launch Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc). What processes are showing as Not Responding?
