FX with RGB

Software Version: 4.2.1057
NX Console Type or PC OS Version: PC

Hi All ,
Is it possible to create an effect where RGB fixture starts in red and ends in green using the FX engine ? I know how to do it in a cuelist or chase but was hoping there might be a way to edit the red - yellow step effect provided in the prebuilt FX screen .
Thanks ,
Tom

@TDTLS
Would the Green - Red Step work for you? It would be the simplest way to create this FX.
Otherwise you can use FX linking to swing Red and Green, then delay Green or Red by 50%.
This video isn’t of version 4.2 but I believe FX linking hasn’t changed since.

Thanks Cody .
Appreciate you making the video , I’ll try that over the weekend .
Is there a Green-Red Step in the pre built FX options ? I don’t see it in my list , might have been deleted for some reason .
Cheers , Tom

The FX Macros can’t be deleted, moved, or modified. So it’s possible that a few more were added if it’s not in your list. It is quite the version jump! On version 4.10 it is FX Macro 20

Hey Cody . Turns out the Green-Red Step is in the venue version of the Onyx FX macros , the saved custom view in the workspace had it hidden and I never scrolled up . Thanks again for your video of how to build it without the macro . Appreciate your help and happy holidays . Cheers , Tom
