Hello. I’m having an issue where proper Kelvin presets transitioning into color have a hard switch over when the color control channel crosses from 50-51%. Essentially I would like this to function as a smooth cross fade as opposed to an on an off that makes it impossible to transition smoothly from kelvin temps to saturated colors. I’m sure this is a simple thing and just something I’m overlooking but figured I’d ask for help and see where my mistake lies as opposed to banging my head against the wall. The units are all Arri Skypanel S-120s and 60Cs. I imported the patch from capture but also patched and tested directly in Onyx to make sure the CITP import wasn’t the problem. I’ve never had a problem with this in MA, ETC, or even blackout so I’m sure it’s just my dumb brain not assigning channels correct or something simple.
Hello, have you updated to the latest fixture library?
Yes I updated and tested via capture import and onyx onboard first thing. Just incase something changed in the last few days.
It appears to be something with Capture/Onyx communication. Visualizer simply displays things as a hard switch as opposed to a cross fade as those particular values represent in the dmx profile. Perhaps something with the profile in capture or however Onyx and Capture are communicating. Important thing is there seems to be no issue in real world application.
