This is probably a stupid question but I couldn’t find any documentation anywhere to provide an answer.
if I have an NX1, is it possible to update the license down the track to increase the universe/zone count?
Universe/zone count for consoles can’t be upgraded: they’re dimensioned against the processing power inside
NX1 is maxed out at 8 Universes and 2 Dylos Zones. It can not be upgraded.
Ah, that makes sense.
Next question, can the NX-P connected directly to a PC be used in conjunction with a 64 universe license?
We impose no limits to connecting and interacting with our hardware. Only at the usage level we support up to 16 independent wings of each type (playbacks, submasters, …) and we don’t cumulate licenses (highest found is activated).
