Limiting Intensity Of Fixtures

Question regarding limiting the intensity levels of certain fixtures.

Is there a way to set the limit within the fixture profile(Example: Max Intensity Output is 50%) or is the best course of action to create an inhibitive cuelist for the desired fixture and setting it to the level I am needing? Inhibitive is simple enough but wondering if there are other ways.

Hi @frankschabell

The best option is to record the fixtures into an inhibitive cuelist.

There is no dedicated “Max Level” or “Topset” option.

That is perfect and what I thought was the case. I actually don’t mind having the Inhibitive Cuelist on different bank where I can adjust it if needed :slight_smile: Just wanting to ensure I guide my client properly.

Strange idea, but

Offset intensity @ -50

With this method, it would mean if you typed 1 @ 25 ENTER, the fixture would still be off, as theoretically it would then be at -25%.

Whereas if you use an Override cuelist, everything is scaled.
