Just received an old M-Play I purchased, it seems to be on Firmware 2.0, while my M-Touch is on Firmware 2.6. I’m having a problem where the device will intermintantly disconnect, and I suspect it is due to firmware version. I am using 4.4.1207, and when I enter diagnostic tools and firmware update, the window opens, I enter bootloader mode on the M-Play, but then the bootloader tool just says Device Attached with the green status bar at 50%, and the Select Firmware, and Start Update buttons are greyed out.
Do I need to update the firmware, if so, how?
