Midi macro flashout

Software Version: 4.9.1259
NX Console Type or PC OS Version: NX1

I have a blackout inhibitor cue that is always at 100% with a flash out as my button setting. (Just a GM with a total blackout button concept). I have been using a midi fighter lately and want to put this on there. The problem I ran into is in the midi macros there is no setting for flash out to make a fader go from 100 to 0 without releasing the whole cue. Is there a way around this or should I be approaching this another way?

that is a very good question!

Hi @jordan1935

Welcome to the forum.

As there is not a Flash Out MIDI Macro, this means you could not use a MIDI Macro to set an inhibitive playback to 0, if its fader is currently at full.

To achieve this, you would need to first set the inhibitive playback to 0 in ONYX. You could then configure a MIDI Macro to FLASH the inhibitive playback. Triggering this MIDI Macro, would set the inhibitive playback to full. You could then use a FLASHUP MIDI Macro, to set the inhibitive playback to 0.

Hope this helps.
