I am trying to connect to msd6 full (version) using ma1 connection but have no luck. Is there any other dmx drivers I need and if so where would I find them.

Are you using MA-lighting hardware to unlock the universes ?
MSD can only receive DMX values for universes that are mapped to a MA Node, which is present in the network.
( Prior to MA-lighting version 2.9 this was not required. )
