Hi @gogocharter
Upon opening the Console Tester, the NX-K will disconnect from ONYX, and connect to the Console Tester. Upon closing the Console Tester, the NX-K should automatically reconnect to ONYX.
If all of the NX-K’s buttons are responding correctly in ONYX, and it is just the encoders that are not working, please go to ONYX > Menu > General > Preferences, and make sure that “Parameter” is chosen for the NX-K encoder option, should you wish for the encoders to control the main ONYX parameters.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

I will try later tonight to confirm. We usually are always using then with paraneter mode activated
Will check toggle the modes also
After verifying the nx-k encoders were set to parameter mode.
I did the console tester and proceeded to close it.
Then i check if the encoders were responding to the parameters they weren’t.
Went back to the menu toggled the nx-k encoders behaviour to screen then params and still the encoder would not work but all the other button yes
Onyx Version 4.10.1269
Thank you for the update.
After selecting fixtures, please expand the parameter controls (CV), and then click the settings cog situated top-right. In here, please make sure the Resolution is set to Dynamic.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share that I had a very similar issue with my NX-Wing (not NX-K), where the encoders stopped working properly after using the Console Tester. They would only respond after I manually touched a parameter with the mouse.
After trying all possible settings with no luck, what finally worked for me was:
Uninstalling and reinstalling ONYX completely.
Once I reinstalled the same version (4.30.1274), everything started working again as expected — the encoders function immediately without needing any manual interaction.
So if anyone else experiences this problem after running Console Tester, I recommend a clean reinstall of ONYX. It seems like something gets stuck or corrupted during or after Console Tester usage.
Hope this helps!
