Upgrading from software version 4.10 to 4.32 with a BIOS update
Onyx Software is working.
However, the hardware submasters are not working in conjunction with the software.
The submasters work in the console tester. They also work in the software. It seems the connection between the hardware and software is faulty.
The submasters cannot be selected from the hardware.
The problem persists even in version 4.30.
We have now tried testing the new version, 4.31.1307. The submaster wing still doesn’t work on the NX4. Furthermore, the console tester is also not working in this version. A field with “NX2” appears briefly and then disappears again.
Have you checked to make sure the firmware is updated? I would suggest that you check firmware and make sure it’s up to date. After that, then try again. Our NX4 is running 4.32.1302 and has no issues with submaster faders. You could also check to make sure there is no loose connections in the console. If you email support (support@obsidiancontrol.com), they can provide documentation on how to check those connections. If the connections are good and the firmware updated didn’t work, then the console may need serviced.
