Odd Fixture Swing Behavior

Hi all,

Not sure if this is a bug, but thought I’d bring it up.

Lets say you have a fixture who’s intensity DMX address is shared with other settings, such as strobe or fixture reset commands found with an MX1, meaning the total number of values that affect intensity is less than 255.

When applying a “swing” effect, greater than 100% (though with some fixtures looks to be less), it appears as though rather than “railing” at the intensity parameter limit, the DMX value sent to the fixture will exceed that parameter, dipping into say nearby “strobe” commands, etc.

Is this intentional? Is there a way to lock “swing” in the currently released version of Onyx, such that “swing” can only live within a specified parameter limit, even if that space is smaller than 255 possible values?

Thanks much, and I hope someone may have some insight on this.
