Side note:
We were made aware of some older consoles experiencing lag on the touch screen after installing 4.32.1301. To correct this issue, please do a full OS reinstall using the 4.32.1302 OS.,
Some NX2/NX4 were unable to boot to larger USB drives to install the OS. To correct this issue, please update the BIOS using the file listed on the download page.
Today 8-1-2025 I updated my NX2 to 4.32 OS and it downloaded the 4.32.1301 and sure enough its all glitchy. I go on the forums and see this dated 28/7/2025.
Why am i able to download the bad file 4 days after this post? I have to do the whole process again.
Hello everyone, I’ve just installed version Onyx 4.32.1302 on my NX2 console, and everything seems to be working fine. However, I noticed that there’s a BIOS update available. I downloaded it and started the installation, but during the process—after the two windows shown in the BIOS installation tutorial—this screen appeared:
To avoid failing in BIOS update, please DO NOT remove the hard disk or USB or any devices.
When users update BIOS in any inappropriate way, that incorrect behavior will result in BIOS crash
and the NX2/NX4 controller cannot be powered on.
!!!!! After the BIOS upgrade, the NX2/NX4 will restart automatically and the screen may go blank for more than 1 minute !!!!

The NX2/NX4 BIOS update is only required, if you find that your NX2 is failing to perform operating system updates correctly. As your NX2 is already on ONYX 4.32.1302, this confirms your console performed the update correctly. Therefore, the BIOS update is not currently required on your console.
We only recommend updating the BIOS if absolutely necessary.
