This can be caused by a missing directx file.
Uninstall ONYX
Download the DX package https://files.obsidiancontrol.com/s/ZedAjLKT7ddFFMA
Unzip the file
Run the file “DXSETUP.EXE”
Once completed reinstall ONYX
