and is there a beta now, for testing the features and fixes for the next build?

I will take a closer look at this.

Maintenance builds undergo internal testing only, as they are primarily focused on bug fixes and minor improvements to the current release.

New feature releases go through a much more extensive development and testing process:

  • Individual Feature Development

  • Individual Feature Testing (Alpha)

  • Internal Combined Testing (Alpha)

  • Private Testing (Private Beta)

  • Public Testing (Public Beta)

  • Release Candidate (Stable Beta)

  • Release (Stable)

4.33 is currently nearing the end of the Individual Feature Testing (Alpha) phase, with features progressively moving toward combined internal testing. We expect the combined internal testing phase to be relatively short, as it is primarily focused on compatibility and structural testing before the build is distributed to external testers in the private beta.

We know this release has been a long time coming. Several of the new systems are substantial changes to ONYX, and we’re taking the time to build and test them properly rather than rushing them into users’ hands before they’re ready. The goal is not only to deliver these features, but to make sure they’re reliable and provide a solid foundation we can continue building on in future releases.

NX3 It’s coming with this version ? or is planning to go out with 4.34 ?

NX3 will ship with 4.32.1314

Dylos Zone Master Intensity for Submasters/Inhibitives has been logged as ONYX-1377

Was it removed again from the downloads page?

@flippatspace - ONYX 4.32.1314 is still on the main downloads page.

Watson

I am pretty sure it wasnt there yesterday. Nevermind - got it now

Can you already spoiler what new features will be in 4.33? Mostly interested in the new FX engine and more flexibility in assigning buttons/faders to individual cuelists. Is that part of that new release?

  • Improved visual feedback on cue transitions (Fade, Follow, Wait, Delay, ect) (Pending)
  • User-defined Cue list Options/Assignment Templates
  • Updated Flash Time System w/ referencing
  • New Playback Assignment System (multiple cue lists per playback strip)
  • GDTF Support (Pending)
  • Multi-Emitter Color Picker (Pending)
  • DyLOS Layer in Layer Cross Fade
  • DyLOS Multi Layer per Zone
