Any possibility to add an additional USB to Network adapter in order to connect to wifi router for remote control?
Network port already used for ArtNet nodes.

I think, a generic USB > LAN adapter should work. I can test it this week on my NX2 actually
If You plug in the adapter and it will be visible in onyx network settings, then you can surely use it as a secondary output.
This is very possible. As @Mike stated, any Generic USB - LAN adapter that uses generic windows drivers will work. We are doing exactly this (as you described) with our NX1.
Hope this helps,

Thank you Mike and Watson.
Think there’s any way to do something like this with a USB wifi adapter?
I have read in other posts that Onyx does not support third-party hardware.
@DeweyB -
Not sure on the wifi adapter part. IF I had to take a guess, as long as the wifi adapter used generic Windows drivers then, in theory, it should work. I just don’t know how you would configure the wifi settings with the consoles. Unless you could set the adpater settings and then plug into the console.

This is true. They don’t support other third party hardware drivers. But in this case, a generic windows driver is support. We have plugged in USB wirless mouse / keyboards. A USB to Ethernet adapter for consoler / X-NET applications (while the main NIC card is going to nodes), and generic touch screens. It is my understanding that this is why they went away from ELO as they needed more specific drivers. So that is why documentation reads any generic windows driver devices.

Class drivers (as for most network adapters) indeed can do their thing: those network adapters will show up in ONYX’s settings menu and can be configured there.
