Hi Everyone,

I am having a lot of trouble understanding the ONYX philosophy and I am wondering if someone could help explain.

I don’t really understand why I can’t make a color effect between anything other than two color parameters. Why can’t I do it in between two presets or even just two RGB states?

I don’t really understand why I can’t tell the console to select even or odd and change them a color.

ONYX does not offer effects between two preset states. Only wave effects on individual channels are supported.
The DYLOS engine adds preset based effects in the upcoming release.

For odd/even selection check the grouping tools, its very easy to select every two fixtures, then use the Last/Next key to alternate between the two sets.
