Trying to use my Pathport DMX manager over Artnet OR sACN. IP addresses are good, plugged in ether2DMX8, verified that I was communicating with that device- no issues. When transferred back to Pathport device, I noticed that all the DMX outputs were “not available”. I know auto discovery plays into this- not an option via the manager app for the Pathport unit. If auto discovery is not a feature, will the artnet device still work? Same situation with sACN…
Yes - it can work, but you need to setup the override settings. Check out this page in the manual that describes how to use it - under " Unicast to detected devices - Broadcast other universes"
