I have a rack with 8 en12, afaik the en12 are rdm capable, but I can’t get rdm working with Ma, any others having this problem?

Did You enabled RDM in the Menu of the Netron?

Rdm enable in every port and i saw the console sending packages because all poprts flash in white. But I can’t get any info of the fixtures whatsoever.

We are aware of the issue and are investigating the cause.

Any progress on this matter? All of my nodes are currently set up to work with RDM, and I have many installations where I have recommended the implementation of Netron.

Hi there’s any solution on this? , Dmx workshop is not the best solution for venues that doesn’t have a knowledge tech.

This isn’t a small bug to correct but inherent to the current implementation of Netron’s RDM communication over Art-Net.

It will take some time and lengthy testing to improve this., at least several months. We’ll post on the forum once there is a version to check out.

Thanks Matthias, I’ve bough them an sell to multiple clients for all the amazing features but RDM is essential to me and some of my installations.

Hi, are there any news on this matter? Been in need of this to work lately on larger venues as we switch more and more from luminex to Netron.

Seems like they don’t support rdm via art net or scan anymore in grandma platform.

RDM on MA consoles, its only in MA Hardware (NPU or NODES)

It’s not only on MA platforms. My proplex tester it’s not able to get a list of fixtures even after nodes flash in white. Ma have the same issue. On swisson and luminex nodes it works, from both.

We are moving from those brands to Netron as I personally own some and love them, but this is a major feature to us. This company produce quite big shows and this is a life saver.

Before 2.9.4, I was able to see all my fixtures with RDM in all my grandma systems, and now I have to flush RDM first to get RDM start to work with grandma2. So, RDM in Ma console works with every node; however, to start to transmit, you have to have a piece of MA hardware.

We are aware of this and changed some of the RDM communication to improve the compatibility. Its in testing and we made good progress on this.
