rgbw mixing fader setup

we want 4 faders for rgb and white. on bank1, playback fader 1-4. the single colors should be mixable , also with white, without any intensity loss, or that one color releases the other. which parameter data, which type of cuelist, and which cuelist options we have to work with? do we need the intensity on another fader? this should work with one single rgbw or many independet rgbw fixtures. thx.

to stupid, none knows or impossible?

If i understand correctly you are wanting to colour mix live?

If that is the case it is quiet easy to do. Select the lights.
Turn red(which colour your working on) to 100%
the rest will also have a value. So you need to on pc right click in the other colours and then choose CLEAR. Then those values wont be light up. Record onto desired fade. I store as an overright.

Other tip i do is recrd the default values to all be 0% so when the intensity is up there is no light output. See how you go.

override as cuelisttype does not work. thx

It 100% does. Need a bit more info then it doesnt.
Most things are possible but we arent seeing what your seeing. So need to explain whats happening or not happening.

As @mzagarn mentions, the key to creating RGBW faders:

  • Record as an Override cuelist
  • Make sure each cue list just includes R/G/B/W, not any of the other colours
  • Default the fixture’s intensity to full, and RGBW to 0, or, create yourself a separate playback that sets intensity to full and RGBW 0. Then activate this playback prior to using your RGBW faders.
