Here’s exactly what I’m doing (using mouse, no console):
Clear Clear
Select ALL fixtures
Right Click intensity, load Channel.
Set all stage washes to 255 blue and 100 intensity.
Record Playback Cue 1.
Clear Clear
Activate playback to see it work.
Load Load
Deselect all Fixtures.
Select One Moving head.
Fade intensity in to 255 for a bright spot.
Select all fixtures.
Record Cue 1 to playback button 2.
Clear Clear.
Now, when I click the first playback, the washes fade in. When I click the 2nd playback, the spot fades in, but both playbacks remain active. I swear the first one is supposed to release because I have all fixtures in both cues in each cue list.
Set all stage washes to 255 blue and 100 intensity.
Record Playback Cue 1.
[Don’t have to do these two…
Clear Clear
Activate playback to see it work.
…but you can if you want to]
Deselect all Fixtures.
Select One Moving head.
Fade intensity in to 255 for a bright spot.
Record Cue 1 to playback button 2.
Clear Clear.
Activate playback 1 - the washes come up
Activate playback 2 - the spot comes up
This isn’t really tracking related, because you’re recording them into two separate cuelists (playback button 1 vs playback button 2). Tracking occurs within a single cuelist.
This is just having multiple playbacks executing at the same time, but controlling different fixtures/attributes.
