I’ve set up all my patch incl 2 Dylos Zones. When I wanted to test the Dylos mapping, I discovered that there’s some strange rotation pattern on both zones.
Not a single cue has been programmed, the programmer is empty, all channels are on default values. I can’t get the Dylos to play a video without this multiplied rotation that you can discover on the grid.
hello, we know this behavior from our nx1, if we join a show as secondary on another consol or on pc setup. it is a default value offset in some zone parameters im our cases. and sometimes it get solved by rejoin the show several times, sometimes not.
Indeed, this could be the root cause. I have also a PC running as secondary controller in the network and had the PC dropping several times during the programming time.
In my case, I deleted the Dylos zones and added them again. Afterwards all was back to normal. Next time I will try your tip. So thanks for your insight!
Thank you for your description of the issue. Please could you send me a copy of your show file where this issue occurred? We will then be able to investigate further.
To reset a fixture’s/zone’s default values, go to the Output Center window, and go to the Defaults tab. Enable “Edit” mode, and then select the fixtures/zones you would like to reset. Then click Clear, and choose “Fixture Selection Only”…
in our case, it happens also on new showfiles opened on pc wing computer, and join the new show by our nx1. this happens randomly on the last versions of onyx. we do not updated to the newest beta yet. yesterday we see, that it happens more ofter if we first manipulate things in dylos on the secondary console, if we first open the dylos view on primary console and manipulate parameter of the zone there, it is not a problem so far.
Thank you very much for the additional information. I have been able to reproduce this issue. This issue is logged on our system (reference ONYX-1151) to allow our software team to investigate further.
