Hello, I currently have an NX-1 running 4.10.1271.0. I would like to update to the newest 4.32. According to the website, you can just do the updater here ( Download ) If you have 4.10 or higher. However whenever I do the process, it seems like it updates, but then restarts and reverts back to 4.10
To fix this I attempted to flash the OS (the 16 gb file on the website). After creating the flash drive; and turning on the board, the board flashed a screen at me about how I’m using BIOS on a UEFI only device.
so can someone please tell me how to accurately do the update?
As your NX1 is currently running ONYX 4.10.1271, you will need to update the console’s operating system to ONYX 4.32.1311, as per the instructions below…
If your console is having difficulty booting into your OS USB drive, please first try formatting a different 64GB drive.

I was talking in the discord as well. I have been able to create the drive, but when putting it into the NX-1 it throws me this error screen. That is after trying multiple USB ports. Something seems very wrong
Thank you for the photo. Normally in this situation, this is because the NX1 is having difficulty booting into the OS USB drive. Therefore, this can often be solved by formatting an alternative USB drive using the OS tool included with the ONYX OS download, and then attempting the installation again.
If an alternative USB drive is also resulting in the same error, it may be worth resetting the console’s BIOS. To do this, please email support@obsidiancontrol.com, and we can provide instructions.
