I downloaded version 1181 from here
and reliably trigger the following (handled) exception:
Access violation at address DC995E in module 'CueListUI.ocx'.
Write of address <changing value>
I can click OK and everything keeps working as far as I can tell, but it’s pretty annoying.
How to reproduce on PC:
- Load/Create a showfile.
- Create and select any playback with a cue.
- Have a Selected Cuelist window in focus.
- Execute the ‘DELETE’ keyboard shortcut (strg+shift+del).
Edit: It seems to interfere with the windows-clipboard. After triggering the exception, I can’t copy/paste anything.
This seems like a bad install. Uninstall/reboot/reinstall it.
So I just tried multiple ways of reinstalling onyx.
The problem persists.
I thought, it may have to do with my showfile, but it also happens with a new empty showfile.
Are you unable to reproduce it?
I just installed the current non-beta version (1057) and it doesn’t happen there.
Edit: It seems to interfere with the windows-clipboard. After triggering the exception, I can’t copy/paste anything.
This is resolved after closing onyx. Wait for all executables to shut down.
I just did a complete reinstall of windows and the error still persists
