I have a problem with my Dylos in the 2D plan. Dylos works fine, but it doesn’t show the visualization in the 2D plan. You can see that the fixtures respond to the input from Dylos, but around the fixtures, it remains black, so you can’t see the selected Dylos media.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
Created a new showfile – the same problem occurs there
Reinstalled Onyx, including deleting and reinstalling the MySQL database
Checked all parameters
Can someone help me with this? I have no idea what could be causing the issue anymore.
Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your detailed description of the issue.
In your 2D Plan, please enable Edit mode, and then select this DyLOS zone. Click the Options menu, and make sure that “Zone Preview” is ON, and the content transparency slider is not at the lowest setting.
Please play some content on this DyLOS zone with the 2D Plan in Live mode, and then open Task Manager on your PC. In your Background processes, you should see various ONYX processes, and a DyLOS process. Task Manager should tell you which GPU these are using. Are they all using the same GPU?
Thank you for the screenshot. If you right-click on the column titles in Task Manager, you should be able to enable the “GPU Engine” column. This is currently hidden in your Task Manager. When displayed, this column tells you which GPU the process is using.
Thank you for the screenshot. This may be the issue. All ONYX processes, including DyLOS, should share the same GPU.
If DyLOS is using a different GPU to the other ONYX processes, please go to Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics. Has “DyLOS” been added here? If not, please go to Add Desktop App, and browse to C:\Program Files\Obsidian Control Systems\ONYX\Binaries, and add DyLOS.exe. Please then set it to the same GPU as the rest of ONYX.
Please then run ONYX, and let me know how you get on.
